Moving again

Oh come on Alex…. How many times have you moved? you never satisfied ….. ?

Ok guys, I moved because I want to do light coding and implement amazon linker. WordPress is sure a good one, but one thing that we cannot mess with the codes and no ads… so It really depends on individual what they want. Professional with advance feature, use wordpress. You want to play with the code, template and ads go for blogspot (even though I still think that blogspot is for children but well I’ll use it anyway)

I really want to try to put some ads in my blog who knows i can buy 1 – 2 mp3 from the earning. and more than that I dun what to put off my learning spirit! the moment that you stop learning it’s the moment that you are ready to fall behind.

Spent 2 hours to transfer not so many posting hehehe, the thing is that wordpress able to export out or in the post while blogger doesn’t allow. It was a pain, but I hope it worth the effort.

Google Chrome Review

New Browser from Google called Chrome, looks clean and nice isn’t it?

Just a short review, this browser offer something different, let’s welcome the crash controller. Even frustrated when you open one browser with many tab and when one tab is hang, everything will stop working?

It’s different with Google chrome, its take each tab as a separate process in the task manager not as a single one. Google claim that even though in the beginning it’s eating more memory than the normal browser but it the end as we open more tab and browse it will be more efficient compare to the normal one.

So let say one tab hang, you can close that particular tab without affecting the other ! cool feature … but it’s gonna be difficult to track how much memory used up in the task manager. But not to worry, the chrome comes with its own task manager.

Different Homepage?
Certainly different! it’s quite similar like Opera where there’s a lot of small thumbnail of web pages. The different is opera offer a speed dial page while Google offer a history and often visited page thumbnail.

Maybe some of you know that I want to create an online photogallery.

But after thinking it through, it’s really taking up a lot of time to set up and everything else.

So I tried to look around for review, like Flickr, picassa, shutterfly, etc.  In my opinion the Flickr here is the best and has a promising future.

You can upload the picture and let other people download the original photo. You can tag your photo. You can do a simple edit and enhancement of your photo from any computer through integrated Picnic (Online photo editor). Slide show. You can integrated with other free online gallery out there. Community Support. Favorite. Statistic.

But the basic account (free) has the limitation, 100MB per month for the upload, max 200 pictures to display. Visit the web to see the difference between Basic and Pro Flickr

I’m thinking not to renew my subscribsion with bluehost, is not that the service is bad or whatever.  Bluehost is really a good hosting site, unlimited stuff here and there.

But I realize it’s under utilize for me …. cost me about $120 per year (Cannot recall and too lazy to find out haha)

Then my plan is use Flickr as my online gallery + use wordpress hosting as my blog. Anyway I seldom blog … and I don’t mind if I cannot use my custom theme.

And overall I can get it for $25 per year (the wordpress hosting is free).  But for sure I cannot use my own domain name, the good thing is I dun have to maintain the hosting config and those css and php stuff. You don’t have to worry about backup and of course your money.

Well, if you are interested also for Flickr pro you better have it now! Why? because there is a promotion extra 3 month of subscribtion til end of September.

Am I paid by Flickr to advertise? Nope… Just trying to share my experience, but if Flickr want to give me a free pro account, I’m more than happy to receive that.

Oh My Camera

Just Yesterday, during prayer meeting I realized a physical damage on my camera !!!

Well I did dropped one day before but didn’t realize the physical damage. So I tried to push it down so it become intake but not didn’t seems to work. Gave up and then told myself to concentrate on the Anniversary and during the Anniversary I don’t have any mood to take photo + I’m afraid the damage will getting worse if I use it.

What a sad thing…. at home tried it again … force it …. push it …. and it able to come back to the original shape and intact but some scratches remain…

I guess when we are hurt by someone, no matter how hard we force to fix it, it still have some scratched left in our heart. Maybe even right now you have that person face and all the past coming back to you right now. So it’s impossible to heal?

Well I have two good news for you, the first one is we are not a camera …. so dont compare your self with a camera hahaha

The second one is we have Jesus in our life! Of course I’m not able to do fix the scratches in my camera because I’m not God. But I believe that God able to heal any scratches that left in our heart… whatever it is in the past as long as we commit it back to God and If we have the desire to be healed… God will be there for us… He is Jehovah Rophi “God that heals”

2273 – The First Day

Have been blessed by God and my company, They allow me to go for training + exam for 2273.  One of the core module to go for MCSA.  I’m aiming for MCSE though but I’m not sure whether I can make it (based on my limited IQ) or whether my company wants to sponsor me or not.

But Thank God, at least I can go for 1 module 2273 and when I pass the exam I’ll get MCP.  MCP / MCSA / MSCE what is that?

Basically it’s a Microsoft certification

MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional, Pass 1 Core Exam)
MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator , Pass 3 Core Exams)
MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer,  Pass 7 Exams) more detailed info

Well it’s scary though, I dun like exam and studying but I must do it anyway for my future.  I need a prayer also

The first day of training is quite flat, because it’s quite basic and I have those knowledge from the past three months but in the end it’s quite exciting about grouping global, universal, domain local.

Hope to get more meat tomorrow ^_^ nyam nyam nyam

What makes me sad?

That’s a small still voice that came out and ask me “What makes me sad?”

And I just prompted to note down about it.  Well since I’m in front of my computer now, I’ll use my blog to keep a record who knows down the road I need it.

So the things that make me sad, let’s dig it out

1. When someone who dear to me pass away / parting away
2. When I know I should do something that is right but I didn’t do it
3. When someone betray me
4. When God seems so far
5. When nobody cares for me
6. When my good friend tell me something but I’m the last one in the whole world that know about it.
7. When I’m powerless to stand on my feet again
8. When I make someone sad
9. When I spoke something hurting that I know I never able to retrieve it back
10. When I’m sitting beside someone whom I love but I cannot say how I feel about her
11. When someone don’t forgive me
12. When someone accused me something but the person doesn’t one to listen to me
13. When people forget about me
14. When someone hurt me

Hmm don’t find anything else … even I believe there is some more .. but maybe I’m just too tired today after the meeting in the morning + Indo Olympic 4 + Watching Movie + dance practice.

Well after I review again the above points, I don’t think I can change much about it. Can’t change the situation, but 2 things I realize I can do.

1. Change myself, I cannot change the environment or what is happening but one thing I can do is to change what is within, release forgiveness, dismiss the worry. Stand up and move on, I don’t believe in dwelling in sadness and pity party too long.  What I want to do is: I can be sad but after a while stand up. But how if you are sad because you cannot stand up?

2. Leave it to God and learn a lesson from it.  I should leave it to God, because only Him who can sustain me. People may know but they don’t know completely what you’ve gone through, only God that can help us, not to make the sadness gone but the strength and peace to walk over it.

Ecclesiastes 7:3 says, “Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.”

Maybe you can write your own “What makes me sad?”  you can share it to me and I’ll post it here.

Some prayer for me and you!

God help me to understand myself better and lead me in your way, as your high is higher than me give me the big heart to accept the thing that I cannot change.  Replace the sadness, anger, bitterness and worry by your peace alone.  God sustain me as I go through this with you. In Jesus Name, Ameen
